Laganas Resort
Laganas is one of the most popular and lively tourist resorts on the island of Zakynthos. Quiet and napping during the winter, in the summer the village of Laganas comes alive with tourists and colorful lights of hotels, bars, restaurants, shops, and attractions of all kinds!
The town of Laganas is located on the southern coast of the island of Zakynthos, about ten kilometers from Zakynthos City (the capital).
Its surroundings offer verdant hills and long sandy coast, overlooking the crystal clear waters of the Ionian Sea.
Laganas is a small seaside resort on the Greek island of Zakynthos. Its beach is lapped by the placid shallow waters of the bay of the same name, with a number of lively bars and tavernas close at hand.
The quieter beach of Kalamaki is a protected area where sea turtles, an endangered species, can lay their eggs. A wooden footbridge connects the nearby village of Agios Sostis to the tiny island of Cameo, with pine forests and a small beach lined with bars
