Agios Leon Village, Zakynthos
Agios Leon is a small village located 24 km west of Zakynthos Town. You will pass through this village following the western road from Volimes to Maherado. With narrow streets and red tiled roofs, Agios Leon has kept its traditional architecture. The surrounding nature is pure and nice for trekking. In close distance to secluded beaches on the western side of Zakynthos, this is a place to discover the non-tourist aspect of the island. The village took its name from the 14th century church of Agios Leon that is found there.
